CARE OF MAGNETIC MATERIAL
Storing
Magnetics:
When not using
Magnetic, Keep it in a clean,
dry place.
Store on a flat surface to keep creases from
developing.
Store with vinyl side up.
Preparing Magnetic Surfaces:
Before placing magnetic sheet on a metal surface, be
sure all surface paints, clear coats and waxes are
hardened.
Clean the surface and the magnet with mild detergent.
Wipe with a soft cloth and allow to dry.
Applying Magnetics:
Apply magnetic to a smooth, flat or gently curved
metallic surface.
Make sure there are no air pockets between the
magnetic and the metal surface.
If you place the magnet in the wrong position, completely
remove the magnet from the surface and reattach it.
Do not pull the magnet across the surface.
Avoid use on horizontal surfaces exposed to direct sunlight
with temperatures exceeding 150 degrees Farenheight.
Be aware that long term use on surfaces exposed to sunlight
can result in uneven fading of the surface because the magnetic
covered area is shielded from the sun.
Cleaning Magnetics:
To guard against moisture and dirt buildup between the magnet
and the metal surface, remove the magnetic at regular intervals.
Clean both the magnet and metal surface with mild detergent.
Wipe with a soft cloth or allow to air dry. For vehicle mounted
magnetics, remove and clean weekly.
To protect fresh clear coat, base coat and/or vinyl surfaces on
new cars and trucks, remove magnetic signs daily.
